“Music Is My Passion”
I started playing the guitar when I was 12 years old. I never thought I would see the day where I could almost relive those happy moments by looking at my own children reaching for my guitars and always singing along. They are actually very good singers (I’m sure they take after their mother).
It is hard to explain what it’s like to fall in love with an instrument, but I can tell you that back then, when my father gave me his guitar, I would wake up every morning thinking about it… I couldn’t wait to pick it up and feel the strings under my fingers, and try to get sound out of it that resembled music somehow. It was an obsession, but one of the only truly benevolent ones.
I eventually turned my passion into a profession at 17 years old, when I accepted my first paying “gig” at a fine dining restaurant in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Besides creating videos for my YouTube channel where I get to put to use my love for filmmaking while also helping other aspiring guitarists, being a professional musician has always been my main and only job… (I tried being a waiter for a few months but ended up realizing that all I wanted to do is play).
Recently things took a drastic change, and not only for me but for most of society around the world with the appearance and spread of COVID-19 or better known as Coronavirus.
I feel deeply saddened to know how many people have lost their lives due to this pandemic.
As an entertainer, or small business owner, I am one of those who are directly affected by all of this and I remain hopeful that this will pass sooner than later and I will be able to return to perform for live audiences and continue to make my living.
Throughout the years, I have had the support of many of my fans in multiple ways and for that I am always thankful.
My friend and developer Scott, has helped me create this page for those who wish to send their support.
Please stay safe, so we can meet again after all of this is over!
